Share the Unshared Things

Well, this writing is actually not the most interesting thing I want to write yet I'm amazed with how people deal with Social Media. Besides those scandals about bullying that ruining one and some people social life, Social Media might somehow malfunction for some too. Pathetic? yes! it is pathetic seeing how people being influenced with such drama and neglecting the real life they suppose to live with. So, I guess this matter is in between are we not ready for social media? or are we the victim of this attractive applications for sharing and updating things for public. I do not have this answer for people have their rights of their own perspective about social media.

The Fault in Our Stars

When I first catched this movie on magazines and watched its trailer, I thought this kind of cheesy poetic-drama kind of movie that can be simply understood yet so light to enjoy. So, I skipped it. Somehow when I read its review again and found my husband got that movie for our movie-date … I guessed I need to watch this based on novel movie by John Green and directed by Josh Boone.

Despite my sarcastic way in perceiving that true love doesn't exist, deep inside me still hoping that it is existed. Of course my tears were falling watching this movie. I fell in love with this movie not just because they were using my album collections as its soundtracks like Birdy, Kodaline, Lykke Li, Tom Odell and Ed Sheeran, but how simply they show us how to perceive life in a way from people like Gus and Hazel (whose life seems harder than mine). Especially, I like the way they confronting the definition of the fault is our stars as not to blame the bad luck but referring the fault to ourselves for thinking it as a bad luck.

Belajar Tua

I'm planning to do something today that my future self
will thank for!

Sayangnya saya belum sempat belajar banyak, ketika teman saya bicara soal ini dahulu sekali. Saya hanya sempat manggut - manggut dan belum terlalu mengerti kenapa saya harus belajar tua. Umur saya baru saja lepas 25 tahun waktu itu, tentu berpikir untuk keriput belum menjadi prioritas pikir saya. Yang jelas sedikit saya pahami waktu itu hanyalah pola pikir yang diimbangi dengan menuanya usia. Belajar untuk mempersiapkan diri ketika menjadi tua nanti. Semoga saya tidak salah tangkap dan menginterpretasikannya lain.

Mengakui Keangkuhan Menerima Ketidaksempurnaan

Sembari menunggu antrian panjang bakmi jawa terenak di desa, saya mencoba membuat hari ini lebih bermanfaat dengan mendiskusikan perasaan saya kepada suami saya. Meski diskusi ini juga tak cukup membunuh waktu karena lamanya antrian bakmi jawa yang hanya dimasak oleh satu orang dengan tiga tungku dan kami adalah antrian ke dua puluh mungkin. Kami berdua membahas bagaimana saya belajar untuk mengakui keangkuhan dan mulai adaptasi dengan penerimaan atas ketidaksempurnaan hidup.
