The Fault in Our Stars

When I first catched this movie on magazines and watched its trailer, I thought this kind of cheesy poetic-drama kind of movie that can be simply understood yet so light to enjoy. So, I skipped it. Somehow when I read its review again and found my husband got that movie for our movie-date … I guessed I need to watch this based on novel movie by John Green and directed by Josh Boone.

Despite my sarcastic way in perceiving that true love doesn't exist, deep inside me still hoping that it is existed. Of course my tears were falling watching this movie. I fell in love with this movie not just because they were using my album collections as its soundtracks like Birdy, Kodaline, Lykke Li, Tom Odell and Ed Sheeran, but how simply they show us how to perceive life in a way from people like Gus and Hazel (whose life seems harder than mine). Especially, I like the way they confronting the definition of the fault is our stars as not to blame the bad luck but referring the fault to ourselves for thinking it as a bad luck.

Nur noch kurz die Welt retten

Sebenernya menurutku, itu bukan judul yang pas untuk tulisan ini. Tapi waktu melihat tulisan ini, aku mulai bingung .... ini maksudnya apa?
Pesannya singkat, tanpa prolog, tanpa mengucapkan sesuatu .... tiba - tiba hanya sebuah link yang bahkan tidak langsung kubuka. Aku pikir itu hanyalah sebuah keterangan. Tapi entah kenapa, ketika membuka pesan itu kembali, mulai aku berpikir ... "sepertinya dia mengirimi aku sebuah link"

Link itu menuju pada sebuah situs ternama yang memuat video - video di seluruh dunia dan judul inilah yang muncul. Senyum kecilku seakan tau, dulu dia selalu begini .... dulu sekali ... hanya meninggalkan pertanyaan yang akhirnya aku lupakan. Aku mulai menyimak video ini ... tentu saja aku tidak paham maknanya tapi musiknya asik juga. Lalu aku mulai mencari arti dari lirik ini .... untuk menjawab rasa penasaranku.

Ini bukan yang pertama, beberapa kali dia mengirimkan lagu atau video. Lagu itu hanya untuk aku ... dikirim khusus untuk aku. Percuma aku melontarkan  banyak tanya dibenakku, karena sudah lebih dari 12 tahun aku bertanya, tapi tidak ada satupun jawaban yang bisa memenuhi ruang tanya itu. Yang aku tau, dia akan baik - baik saja ...  terlelap ketika aku mulai menyambut pagi. Menyapaku dalam awal harinya sementara aku sudah menaruh beban hariku pada malam.
