In 2008, I started my career as a Public Relations in a five-star international chain hotel in Yogyakarta.
Choosing this career was a damn-exciting journey I ever had. I studied for being an English Teacher in which a doubt myself in becoming a teacher but somehow I love English Language and found it easy to learn. So, soon after graduated... I swore to myself that I will find another job beside being a teacher.
From reading many sources, I found that Public Relations was quite interesting, so I bought some books related to it and learnt from it. I made applications letter to companies for Public Relations (PR) positions ignoring I had no experience in it. Luckily, this hotel accept my applications and giving me a chance to learn about this profession.
With my truthful heart to learn, working my ass-off all day long, learning from more sources, dealing with my best-scary boss I ever had (now she is a very successful young woman who work as a PR Director in a palace where Michael Jackson spent his time to learn about Moslem before he died). I did some speaker note activity, I did jurying some PR competition, I taught PR in tourism study for post-graduate students in university.
Once I thought I lost my career path as I resigning, for I couldn't cope my personal matters and did my job at the same time. Now, after having leisure time for a year, doing some stuff with families, building my confidence, fight to live my life to the ultimate I can be, learn from failure, building my better personalities, curing my pain and so much more. Now, I proudly said to myself, I have just grabbing my life back!! I got my career back as a PR Manager in 5-star hotel in Yogyakarta and I'm ready to meet the challenges and experience every single beat of this job!!
Thank you for my dearest big Daddy, lovely Mom, Dad, Bro, Best of Friends, and all of you who keep on motivating me to keep moving on and keeping my head up!! I love you all....
