a patience to be patient

I am a "now-child" living in an "instant-life" in which, we can eat noodles in 3-minutes, we can send mail in second, I can phone someone no matter where he is, I can make coffee in 2-minutes, and I want things quickly be done. I want it NOW, without a thing called WAITING!

Then, I grow up impatiently......

Those days of troubles, I complain to God for no solutions, for no answers right away, for none of His presence I can embrace. Until in desperation, I mumble for, "Dear God, what took it so long for this pain go away, what took You so long answering my questions, why is it so difficult for me to hug You just to ensure myself that You're existed!!!" ...... The more Why, What, When, Who, Where, and How that I want to ask Him... the farther away my relations toward Him.

Until the day, my auntie made her call, she told me to read a passage of bible, she said, "Dear, God answers your worries even decades ago before you raise those questions, why should we complaining?!"

Then I read the daily bible reading on May 14, 2011 entitled "Patience to be Patient", from Psalm 130: 1-8 'I wait for the Lord, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope.' Here I can say, many prayers in the Bible come out of the act of waiting. Jacob waited 7 years for a wife and then worked 7 more after being tricked by her father. Israelities waited 4 centuries for deliveriance. Now, I pray for the patience to endure times of trial, to keep anticipating, keep hoping, keep believing. I pray for patience to be patient. Cinta Bertepuk Sebelah Kelamin

Tiba - tiba ada broadcast message masuk ke Blackberry saya: "susahnya cari pacar jaman sekarang, 30% gay, 30% nya lagi pasangan gay, 20% udah punya pacar, 10% lagi ngegebet pasangan, 10 %nya lagi masih sekolah dan belum mapan." Seketika saya tergelak..
Tapi mungkin ini adalah salah satu jawaban paling tepat, kenapa saya masih single dan sibuk dengan karir. Susahnyaaaaaa nyari pasangan akhir - akhir ini... hihihihi....

Memang betul saya sekarang hidup di gay-era dimana kehidupan gay mulai dipublikasikan meski masih banyak menimbulkan pro dan kontra. Apalagi kalau ngomongin soal cinta dan gay, banyak banget interpretasi dan pendapat yang harus disimak dan dipahami baik - baik.

Ketika kehidupan gay sudah jadi trend, otomatis falsafah cinta pun juga memiliki trend baru. Kalau dulu kita kenal dan terluka hanya karena istilan cinta bertepuk sebelah tangan, kalo sekarang kita harus siap mental dengan nasib cinta bertepuk sebelah kelamin.

Hari ini seorang teman menunjukkan foto kecengannya selama 12 tahun lamanya. Pengen juga teriak "bego banget sih mau - maunya ngecengin cowok ampe 12 tahun!!" Tapi, waktu dia menyodorkan foto kecengannya itu, Seketika saya komentar, "so sorry dear, he is absolutely a gay denial!" ..... Pupus sudah harapan teman saya itu, dan harus saya akui... Baru saja dia mengalami apa itu yang namanya .... Cinta bertepuk sebelah kelamin!!
