a brain defect journey

This will be my first journey to Batavia in this year and also my very first year journey while suffering from brain defect.

Once I got an accident and diagnosed having this brain defect at the same time I got a call for interview at the work place I´ve dreamed for a very long time. 

So, I cried and encouraged myself to head in this city and did my interview. All I have in mind is I would do anything if the path lead to my dream no matter how. 

Once in Jakarta, I learnt about “Hope and don´t fall“... Sometimes in life we hope for things we badly wanting to have it and got really disappointed when we failed having them. Here, I learn´t to hope that if the one that I want was not into me, I could still stand on my feet and moving on. Because, I believe that somehow, there is an almighty power beyond us that has given our path in life, what we can do is to walk in its path and believe that this is the best path.

Done with the interview, I went to a friend´s house. A married couple with one daughter. Let´s call their daughter Bless. When my friend realized that she was pregnant, it was both a trouble and a gift for her since, she was not yet married. Yes, it is a big problem in my country!!! Then, they ran to Ubud - Bali, escaping from stressed that might influence her  pregnancy, stressed up with no money left and they only hope that no matter what happen, they can still moving on. Fortunately, in the name of blessing! they met this community www.bumisehatbali.org that run in a gentle birth natural method. This method was very unique in which mother is put in a warm water bath up and let the baby born in the water. Part of this method was they did also traditional massage and once the baby born, they put baby fat (this fat came along with the baby during birth) on mother`s head with beliefs that it kept mothers to stay young.

 
This gentle birth method was really natural and amazing for those who never heard about it, like me! Well, this gentle birth social community really was a great people doing charity for others especially for pregnant women. At that time, in 2008, my friend paid like Rp. 300,000,- for delivering her baby in  this gentle birth community, what a bless for Bless! 

When hope seems away from us and sometimes put us in a disappointment, then hope not for the thing we want but the strength for every single path we are in  -me-

oh ya! and for my brain defect.... it´s just perfectly fine... it`s the strength that keeps me alive!
